Frequently Asked Questions About Unitron Hearing Aids

Unitron Vivante (V) replaces Unitron Blu (B) for receiver-in-the-canal (RIC) hearing aids. Vivante has a new design, better sound quality, and an improved Remote Plus app. For custom in-the-ear (ITE) hearing aids, Unitron Blu is still the newest option.

Unitron hearing aids have four levels of technology: 3, 5, 7, and 9.

  • The higher the number, the more advanced the technology.
  • Higher levels (like 9) have better sound processing and noise reduction.
  • They also give more automatic help in noisy or busy places.

When you place your hearing aids in the charger, the green lights blink about 5 times. Once the lights stop blinking and stay solid green, the hearing aids are fully charged. This takes about 5 to 7 hours.
